Wet Cupping Therapy Experience 1

This is a personal experience after undergoing wet cupping therapy in Korea. I hope this will be helpful for readers seeking better health.

Honestly, I can say that there is no part of my body that doesn’t ache. Although my official age is two years younger, I am actually 65 years old in 2011. I haven’t done extreme exercise or excessive labor, but my body has suffered a lot. The only medical treatments I have received were shoulder correction 10 years ago and spinal correction 7 years ago. Apart from that, my medical history includes acid reflux caused by excessive alcohol and smoking in my younger years.

Despite this, I have been experiencing various symptoms lately: knee pain, lower back pain, right chest and side pain, shortness of breath when running, cold hands and feet, heel spurs, headaches, and chronic fatigue. Since I couldn’t afford medical expenses, I just endured these issues. However, when the pain in my side became unbearable, I visited H University Hospital, where multiple tests were conducted. One doctor, who suffered from similar symptoms, advised me that there was no special treatment and that I should manage it with rest. This gave me relief, knowing it wasn’t a serious illness.

Meanwhile, a friend of mine suffered from severe back pain and spent a lot of money visiting various hospitals, acupuncture clinics, and chiropractic centers, all to no avail.

Discovery of Wet Cupping Therapy

In January 2011, I decided to take up swimming for my health. While at Namyangju Gymnasium’s swimming pool, I met someone who introduced me to wet cupping therapy (natural bloodletting therapy). Out of desperation, I visited the Natural Wet Cupping Therapy website, which immediately caught my interest and changed my perspective on treatment.

Luckily, the person who introduced me to this therapy lived in the same apartment complex, so I immediately asked for a cupping session. Mr. Yang, a practitioner, performed my first wet cupping session. He recommended reading the book on natural Wet Cupping therapy, so I ordered it and read both the theory and practice sections in one go. Gaining confidence and understanding, I underwent my second wet cupping session just 8 days later, as my body had a lot of stagnant blood (bruised blood) with minimal fresh blood loss.

Immediate Effects and Healing Process

After the first session, I didn’t feel much difference, but on the third day, I noticed something unusual—I was able to sit comfortably for an extended period without the usual pelvic numbness. Normally, I couldn’t sit for more than 10 minutes due to discomfort.

Additionally, I used to suffer from sharp pain in my side while sleeping, preventing me from turning over. However, after the first session, I found myself turning over naturally in my sleep without any pain. My friend, who also underwent the therapy, said that walking became much easier the next day.

At this point, I became eager to continue, but the book repeatedly emphasized “Do not be greedy”, so I waited. After seven days, I consulted an experienced practitioner and underwent my second wet cupping session.

The next day, I unknowingly exerted myself and felt extremely fatigued. However, by the third day, I noticed that my hands, which used to tremble slightly, had stopped shaking. I was able to draw straight lines while underlining my book, something I had never done before. This realization stunned me!

Sharing the Benefits with Family

The next morning, I explained my experience to my wife, who suffered from diabetes, hypertension, thyroid issues, insomnia, back pain, anxiety, and chronic fatigue. At first, she was skeptical, but after seeing my improvement, she agreed to her first wet cupping session.

After the session, we measured the total blood extracted, and to our surprise, 300g of stagnant blood was removed. She was shocked and fascinated by what came out—worm-like clots followed by soft, tofu-like substances after the fifth cup. This convinced her, and she started recommending the therapy to others.

Continued Healing

A few days later, during the third session, my wife experienced severe stomach pain, so we targeted the stomach, small intestine, and large intestine acupoints. From the first cupping session, blisters formed on both sides of her abdomen, but having read the book, we weren’t alarmed. I pressed the blisters with my fingers, and thin blood burst out with a popping sound.

We continued until the fourth session, but at some point, the bleeding stopped, indicating that the body was healing naturally. The book assured that there are no side effects to wet cupping therapy, and indeed, my wife’s skin tone improved, and her overall health significantly recovered.

Final Thoughts

Through my experience, I firmly believe that removing stagnant blood through wet cupping therapy restores balance and improves health. If everyone could try at least one session, they would see noticeable improvements. I am committed to spreading awareness about this therapy so that my family, friends, and community can live healthier, brighter lives.

I hope my experience resonates with others and encourages them to explore wet cupping therapy for a healthier future.
